Finland and Sweden are two of my favourite destinations to travel to - they are simply magical lands with beautiful vistas all around - not to mention the fantastic Northern Lights.

Blue Lagoon Pool
The tranquil Blue Lagoon - taken from the walk around this amazing attraction. If you get a chance to visit Iceland, this one is a must! The water is a very vibrant....blue, but, naturally so. Contrasting with the cold white of the snow accentuates this even more. I recommend Reykjavik Excursions to see the best sites (no sponsors here, just my experience!) and this is a great stop off for rejuvenating - Icelandic style!
Hallgrímskirkja Aurora
The beautiful and imposing Hallgrimskirkja with a chance of Aurora. Centre of Rekjavik. Soaking in the pure majesty of the building is something to behold. Given its height, you can view it from the majority of surrounding Reykjavik.
Waterfall in Gullfoss
Though a plethora of waterfalls can be found in Iceland, Gullfoss has won renown for its pure beauty and changing character throughout the year. It is a tourist destination to be sure, but if you step off the beaten track and capture a different viewpoint - I loved the contrasting colours amidst the setting sun and cold snow in mid-January.
Iceland Sunset
The changeable weather can really impact the colours produced. Blessed with a clear sky and no cloud to be seen provided a crisp and punchy sundown here. Sunsets and sky colours are a personal favourite of mine - and this is no exception.
